Quotes & pricing
Where possible, we'll give you a quote before starting work, based on what you've told us about the issue. Mechanical faults aren't always fully visible until we've inspected the vehicle in person — if we find additional work is needed once we're on-site, we'll always let you know and agree a revised price with you before carrying it out.
Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work, unless we've agreed otherwise with you in advance. We accept card, bank transfer, and cash.
No deposit is required to book a job.
Cancellations
We understand things come up. If you need to cancel or rearrange a booking, just let us know as soon as you can — there's no cancellation fee.
Warranty
We stand by our work. Unless otherwise stated at the time of the job:
- Labour carried out by us is covered for 3 months from the date of the job, against faults arising from that specific work.
- Parts we supply are covered by the relevant manufacturer's or supplier's warranty.
This warranty doesn't cover unrelated faults, general wear and tear, or issues caused by how the vehicle is used or maintained afterwards.
Parts
Unless agreed otherwise, we use genuine or reputable aftermarket parts appropriate to your vehicle. If you'd like us to use a specific part or brand, let us know when booking. If you supply your own parts for us to fit, we can't warranty those parts themselves — only the labour to fit them.
Access & safety
As a mobile service, we need safe and legal access to work on your vehicle — a driveway, a legal parking spot, or a safe roadside location. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule a job if the location isn't safe or accessible for our mechanic to work in.
Liability
We take reasonable care with every vehicle we work on. We're not responsible for pre-existing faults or damage that isn't related to the work we've carried out, and our liability for any job is limited to the value of that job. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Complaints
If something isn't right, please get in touch as soon as possible at info@mandmautomobile.co.uk so we can put it right.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
